BOONE COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Mark Swindell of Moberly, Missouri, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Mondy vehicle crash in Boone County.
Swindell, 59, was killed in a vehicle crash involving a dump truck near Sturgeon late Monday afternoon.
According to reports, Swindell was operating a pickup truck on Highway 63 near Breedlove Road around 4:30 p.m. Monday, when a dump truck, operated by 25-year-old Brandon Wainman, of Centralia, Missouri, merged into the path of the pickup. The pickup swerved and exited the roadway. The pickup then came into contact with a tree.
Swindell was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Wainman was uninjured.
