BANGKOK, THAILAND (THECOUNT) — Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, a wealthy British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer also known as Denisi or Ego, died after undergoing a penis enlargement procedure during a luxury vacation in Thailand, with a London coroner ruling that the cosmetic treatment caused a fatal pulmonary embolism.
Ubiribo, 43, had 40 milliliters of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine injected into his penis at an unnamed clinic in Thailand in March, according to evidence presented at an inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court.

Ubiribo was staying at a Marriott hotel in Bangkok with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, when the procedure was performed. The couple subsequently went for a massage, where Ubiribo complained of chest pain and collapsed. He reportedly regained consciousness before passing out again.
Ubiribo was transported by ambulance to Sukhumvit Hospital, where he was initially able to answer questions. Allen informed doctors that her husband had recently undergone the filler injections, but he lost consciousness before a recommended CT scan could be completed.
Doctors determined that Ubiribo had suffered a pulmonary embolism, a potentially fatal condition in which a blood clot or other material blocks blood flow in the lungs. He was transferred to intensive care, where medical personnel performed CPR for more than 100 minutes.
Ubiribo died in the early hours of March 6.
A postmortem examination conducted in the United Kingdom later found cellular material in Ubiribo’s lungs matching the hyaluronic acid used during the procedure. Coroner Jean Harkin subsequently ruled that Ubiribo died from a pulmonary embolism caused by the cosmetic treatment.
The finding established a direct connection between the injected filler and the fatal embolism in Ubiribo’s case. The procedure involved hyaluronic acid, a substance commonly used in cosmetic treatments, along with lidocaine, a local anesthetic.
Ubiribo had built a substantial following on Instagram, where he had approximately 185,000 followers, and was known for displaying a lavish lifestyle. His reported assets included a home in Los Angeles’ Crenshaw neighborhood valued at approximately $1.1 million and a London apartment valued at about $600,000.
Ubiribo and Allen, a fashion designer and socialite, married in Zimbabwe in 2022 in a ceremony reportedly costing approximately $473,000. Following his death, Ubiribo was buried in London in a gold coffin reportedly valued at more than $745,000.
Among those reported to have attended the funeral were Nigerian music superstar Davido and Celebrity Barman Cubana Chief Priest.
Hyaluronic acid fillers marketed for penis enlargement can cost thousands of dollars and may require repeat treatments because their effects are temporary. Medical organizations have warned that cosmetic penis enlargement procedures can carry significant risks and complications. The International Society for Sexual Medicine says there is no safe, reliable nonsurgical method proven to permanently enlarge the penis and notes that enlargement procedures can result in serious complications.
Ubiribo’s death occurred after the procedure during his stay in Bangkok. The London inquest determined that the pulmonary embolism was caused by the cosmetic treatment, based in part on the postmortem finding of material consistent with the hyaluronic acid used in the injection.
