The rapper really classed it up tonight at the MTV Video Music Awards when he took the stage to interrupt Best Female Video winner Taylor Swift. Swift, who was in the middle of her speech, watched from the side as West made his own announced speech.
“Yo Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’m [going to] let you finish — but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time,” Kanye said, pointing to a shocked Beyonce in the audience. The crowd turned on West and started booing. The rapper disappeared off stage, Swift looked ready to continue with her speech but the station cut to commercials.
Beyonce later invited Swift onstage to complete her speech. Classy move on Beyonce’s part. As for West, word is that he was kicked out from the rest of the show because of his outburst, earning a rare ejection from MTV. He later took to his own website to write his side of the event. He wrote in cap locks, of course.
Roseanne vs. Cher, the battle of the one-named celebrities! The famous comedian has gotten under the skin of the singer by insulting Chaz Bono (originally Chastity Bono), Cher’s son who is in the process of becoming a man after forty years of being a woman.
Roseanne joked about the situation on her website, with videos depicting the life of Chaz and Cher in the vein of a silly 90’s sitcom. The video’s opening theme song played to these lyrics: “One’s in sequins, the others in jeans/One hangs with dykes, the other with queens.”
Cher didn’t take too kindly to the videos and a spokesperson replied with a simple “That’s so not funny.”
Maybe Cher will challenge Roseanne to an epic battle in the streets of New York or something. Or perhaps, being a songwriter, Cher can hit back with a little song of her own. Whatever happens, just don’t stop ladies. I love when celebrities duke it out over the internet.
Various celeb blog sites have reported that Lady Gaga is a hermaphrodite. Is it true? They believe a particular video of her performance gives it away. We watched it and it actually doesn’t give anything away. Lady Gaga is simply adjusting her outfit. Celeb gossip sites also claim they found this supposed blog that Lady Gaga wrote herself, coming out and telling her fans that she is in fact a hermaphrodite:

Hilton decided to post a 11:42 video on his official site, which explained the drama that went down Saturday and Sunday night at the MuchMusic awards. According to Perez, it all started when Fergie saw Perez during their music rehearsal. She approached him and asked why he’s so disrespectful to her band on his site and can he lay off. Of course Perez says he’ll try, which means no bitch.
The big drama went down last night between Hilton and Will.i. Am when he followed Perez out of an after party and commanded that Hilton respect him and stop disrespecting his band. What made Will.i.Am upset is when Perez said, “You’re gay. You’re a fuc*ing fag*ot!”
Now why would an open homosexual yell to a heterosexual man that he’s gay? It’s as if Perez used homosexuality as a put down trying to degrade Will, which lead to his manager Polo punching Perez in the face 3 times. I don’t know why Perez is shocked that he was punched after calling a man a fag*ot. I don’t condone violence but eveyone knows that men fight after being disrespected especially when it comes to their manhood.

You would think these guys could be BFF, however, after Clay Aiken ranted on his blog about Adam Lambert’s “Ring of fire” performance on the American Idol program a friendship is out of the question. As we reported here on ThecounT.com, Clay pulled no punches when expressing his feelings on Mr. Lambert using colorful words like, “Awful,” “contrived,” and “frightening.”
Now Clay wants to make nice by saying he’s sorry for his “colorful choice of words.” Clay, who shares American Idol runner-up status with Lambert also said, “I obviously meant it as a colorful statement to imply that I did not enjoy what I heard, I did not mean it as a ’slam’ on Adam as a person.” Anyone who reads what Clay wrote knows, that’s exactly what he meant and that’s why Clay said he’s sorry and that he hopes Adam can forgive him. Maybe Clay should send Adam flowers.

There were like 100,000 internet followers involved! After the B.I.G. Twitter party, Diddy decided that he is going to ‘fast’ for 48 hours. He said fasting is going to be hard because he loves “cheeseburgers and Tahitian Treat!”
Anyway, while Ashton “does not want to get an MRI” like his doctor wants him to do, Diddy is in his 14th hour of fasting. He’s also in the studio working on a new album. He just put up this youtube video of him entitled “I am Diddy hear me roar!”

We are wondering what is was like? Good? Bad? One review from SeattleWeekly.com, written about her Seattle concert titled, “Dear Katy Perry, You’re a Hack” did not have anything positive to say about her.
Billboard Magazine reports that “The tour will hit theaters with 1,000- to 2,000-seat capacities; there will also be an 11-date European run, including several U.K. performances, and stops in Japan.
“Our philosophy has always been to sell places out,” says Creative Artists Agency’s Mitch Rose, who worked Perry’s tour. “We set the ticket price at $18-$20 for most markets, because we wanted to ensure a sellout. We could have charged more and we know we’re leaving money on the table, but making sure the rooms were packed was our first priority.”
But just because the rooms are small doesn’t mean Perry will keep her show simple. “I have the guy who creates stages for Madonna working on this tour,” she tells Billboard. “I’m indulging my obsession with fruit and cats and designing all different outfits.”" Katy ends this story by tooting her own horn:
“All the big pop girls come across as being so scared and so distant,” Perry says. “I understand diva-ness, but I cultivate an image as the pop star next door. You need to have some mystery and some privacy, and there are parts of me that I hold back. But at the same time, I love meeting people and e-mailing with them and blogging about funny things.”
