EASLEY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Logan Matthew Riebe, 24, of Mauldin, has been identified as the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash early Saturday morning in Pickens County, South Carolina.
According to the Pickens County Coroner’s Office, officials responded at approximately 3 a.m. to the area of 435 Gentry Memorial Highway in Easley following reports of a fatal crash.

Investigators determined the incident involved a single motorcycle.
Authorities said Riebe, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, suffered fatal injuries.
The Pickens County Coroner’s Office ruled his cause of death as multiple blunt force injuries.
The crash occurred along Gentry Memorial Highway in Easley, a city located in Pickens County in the northwestern portion of South Carolina. Easley is situated between Greenville and Clemson and serves as a major residential and commercial community within the Upstate region.
Gentry Memorial Highway, also known as U.S. Route 123, is a heavily traveled corridor connecting communities throughout the Upstate and carries both local and regional traffic.
Mauldin, where Riebe resided, is located in neighboring Greenville County and is part of the Greenville metropolitan area.
Authorities have not released additional information regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash.
The Pickens County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol continue to investigate the fatal collision.
