BONNER COUNTY, ID. (THECOUNT) — Riley Hadeen of Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, the snowboarder reported missing Sunday at a Bonner County ski report, has sadly died after being found on the mountain Monday.
Hadeen, 27, was reported missing by his group after failing to show up at a designated spot on the Sandpoint slopes Sunday afternoon.
Officials say Hadeen was discovered and that CPR was administered near the Schweitzer ski resort Monday around 10 a.m. Monday.
Hadeen was transported from the mountain via Two Bear Air rescue to an area airport where medics converged and later pronounced him deceased.
The cause of the death remains under investigation.
