Joe Biden’s niece, Caroline Biden, has avoided jail time, pleading guilty to grand larceny after fraudulently charging over $100,000 to someone’s credit card at posh Bigelow Pharmacy on Sixth Avenue in Greenwich Village.
Bigelow Pharmacy is billed as one of the oldest apothecary outlets in America dispensing proprietary lotions and potions to physicians, surgeons and patients. Other items include a $350 dollar hair brush as well as countless other pricey beauty product concoctions and accessories.
It’s not the first time Caroline has run afoul with the law and it’s not the first time she has been the recipient of a get out of jail free card.
The New York Post reports that in 2014 Caroline Biden was charged with resisting arrest, obstruction of justice and harassment after she got into it with her roommate about rent payment. According to the report, Caroline Biden actually swung at a police officer when they responded to the incident. h/t milo
