Police in Dayton have arrested Ronald Collins, the man suspected of breaking into a woman’s home and assaulting her with hedge clippers.
Collins, 51, is in custody and is being booked into the Montgomery County Jail this afternoon, according to Dayton police.
Collins faces charges stemming from a June 1 alleged aggravated burglary on St. Joseph’s Avenue in Dayton.
The victim, who is connected to an oxygen tank, was overpowered by Collins when he offered to do yard work then forced his way inside, assaulted her and demanded she perform sex acts on him. Before he left, he cut her phone lines and oxygen lines, threatening to kill her if she called the police.
