HOWARD COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Ethan Fuemmeler of Armstrong, Missouri, has been identified as the victim in a two-vehicle crash in Howard County Monday night.
Fuemmeler, 30 was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Fayette on Sunday night.
According to reports, Fuemmeler was operating a vehicle on Highway 5 near Highway 3 in Fayette, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 9 p.m. Monday. The vehicle then made head-on contact with a truck, operated by 62-year-old Philip Dicus.
Fuemmeler, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash of blunt force trauma injuries.
Dicus suffered unknown injuries in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
