FLINT, MI. (THECOUNT) — Mid-Michigan woman, Gwen Morquecho, has identified a body pulled from the Flint River Friday, as her brother, Gregory Peterson.
Morquecho contacted local press to identify Peterson, 29, as the victim found floating in the Flint River Friday. She said she has no idea what happened to Peterson in relation to his death.
The family said the body of the man pulled out of the water is that of 29-year-old Greg Peterson. They have no clue how this happened. “I actually watched them take my brother out of the Flint River,” said Gwenette Morquecho, Peterson’s sister. source
Police found the body floating in the Flint River near Robert T. Longway Boulevard.
An investigation into Peterson’s exact cause of death remains ongoing.
