The long national nightmare is over, friends.  The divorce of Hulk and Linda Hogan has been finalized.  A settlement was reached today after months and months of fighting from both sides.

The specifics of the settlement weren’t revealed.  But, hey, at least it’s over.  The divorce proceedings were getting pretty nasty, with witnesses claiming Linda was doing drugs with alimony money.  Yikes.

“The war is over,” Linda said after the hearing.  You’ve got to wonder what she’s up to next.  I’m guessing reality show but who knows?

Things are really heating up at Hulk Hogan and Linda Hogan’s divorce hearings.  TMZ reports The Hulkster is claiming his ex-wife is spending her temporary alimony cash on drugs.  He’s even got witnesses testifying on his behalf.

A hairdresser claims Linda is cashing her checks for buying pot and painkillers.  Also, a truck driver claimed he saw Linda doing coke.  These people are under oath and speaking to a judge.  Yikes!

She’s getting $40,000 a month from Hulk but that may change after this damning testimony. But who knows the truth?  Maybe the witnesses are fibbing. I know I would lie for Hulk Hogan, that guy could rip me in two.

Linda Hogan Responds to Hulk’s ‘O.J. Murder’ Comment

In Hulk Hogan’s recent interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, Hulk compares he and Linda’s shambled relationship to O.J. Simpson murdering his deceased wife Nicole Simpson. If you didn’t catch our original transcript of Hulk’s statement, here is what Hulk said:
“I could’ve turned everything into a crime scene, like O.J. (Simpson), cutting everybody’s throat. You live half a mile from the 20,000-square-foot home you can’t go to anymore, you’re driving through downtown Clearwater and you see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, sleeping in your bed, with your wife. I mean, I totally understand O.J.”
    Linda replies:
“Hulk thinks he can do whatever he wants, to whomever he wants, whenever he wants. He is your classic narcissist who demands total control and will go to ANY extent necessary to get it. His violent and scary mood swings have been my nightmare for too many years. I hope for the sake of our kids that he gets the psychological help for himself and the safety of others.”
Hulk’s rep then replied with this:
“Hulk in no way condones the O.J. situation. As part of a larger conversation, he referred to it to exemplify his frustration with his own situation.”
    Linda finally replies lastly:
“For those who buy his claim the comment was taken out of context, read the rest of Rolling Stone and determine for yourself if his suicidal tendencies coupled with the use of drugs and alcohol make him a danger. His actions in the past years have been very disturbing. Linda wants all of this to be over so she can move on with her life.”

Hulk Hogan Was Offered Rourke’s The Wrestler

    Hogan is the man

    Hogan is the man

From the blond hair to the muscles, it seems Mickey Rourke’s rendition of a wrestler is a lot like Hulk Hogan’s real life.   Now it is being reported by the LA Times, Hogan was in fact offered the award winning roll.

As it turns out, The Wrestler, may have been, in part, modeled after the life of Hogan, who was a pro wrestler, in real life.

The similarities? The blond hair, the downing of painkillers and like Mickey’s portrayal, Hogan lived in his van also in real life.

You might expect Hogan to be bitter, not only about not getting the part, but also about the film borrowing so many of his life’s experiences, but nothing could be farther from the truth.   Hogan is in fact very complimentary of the film.

Hogan, unlike the film version of The Wrestler, went on to be the most famous name in pro wrestling, and still makes a good living as a entertainer, he’s proud of Mickey performance, and why wouldn’t he? He lived it.
