IBERIA PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Mariah Artiana Francis, of Jeanerette, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a Friday afternoon fatal vehicle crash in Iberia Parish.
Francis, 24, aka, Christiana Alexander, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Jeanerette late Friday afternoon.

According to reports, Francis was traveling in a vehicle along with three other individuals on LA-85 in Iberia Parish, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 4:30 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then came into contact with a farm tractor.
Francis was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The other three people were transported to area hospitals with minor to moderate injuries.
The driver of the tractor was not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
