STATEN ISLAND, NY. (THECOUNT) — Minire Pelinkovic, of Staten Island, New York, has been identified as the victim fatally shot Saturday night at her home.
Adnan Pelinkovic, 18, was arrested and is facing murder charges. An adult male, identified as the father, 54, was injured in the incient.
According to the reports, Adnan Pelinkovic shot his 51-year-old mother around 6:15 p.m. on Saturday inside of the family’s home, located at 134 Burbank Ave in Staten Island.
Minire Pelinkovic was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of a gunshot wound to the chest.
The father suffered a laceration on his chest and refused medical treatment.
Adnan is facing over half a dozen charges, including murder, attempted murder, and assault.
