CHIPPEWA COUNTY, WI. (THECOUNT) — Rachael M. Brewer, of Waupaca, Wisconsin, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Wednesday morning vehicle crash in Chippewa County.
Brewer, 21, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Boyd Wednesday morning.
According to reports, Brewer was operating a vehicle on WI-29 in the area of Exit 97, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then entered a culvert before colliding with a substantial tree around 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Brewer was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
