AROOSTOOK COUNTY, ME. (THECOUNT) — Kacie Haney of Caribou, Maine, has been identified as the teenager killed in a Friday night two-vehicle crash in Aroostook County.
Haney, 17, was killed in a vehicle crash involving a tow truck near Caribou on Friday night.
According to reports, Haney was operating a Ford Focus on Van Buren Road in Caribou, when the vehicle came into contact with a Kenworth tow truck, operated by 28-year-old Michael Nadeau of Limestone around 10 p.m. Friday.
Haney was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The condition of the tow truck driver was not provided by officials.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
