CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — A 10-year-old girl has been killed after falling off a ride while visiting a New Jersey harvest festival Saturday evening, according to reports.
The unidentified girl was on a ride at the Deerfield Township Harvest Festival, located on the Rosenhayn Fairgrounds, 678 Morton Avenue in Bridgeton, Cumberland County, around 6:15 p.m. Saturday, when the fatal accident occurred.
Officials say the 10-year-old girl fell off one of the rides, reports Philadelphia.cbs.
It is unclear which ride the youth was on at the time of the fatal incident.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead in injuries suffered at the event.
There is no further information at this time.
