DEARBORN, MI. (THECOUNT) — Three Dearborn, Michigan teens are in police custody after a “totally random” murder of 29-year-old woman, Sajaa Al-janabi, according to police.
Al-janabi, 29, of Dearborn, was shot during an apparent robbery while sitting in a vehicle outside her family’s home on Bingham Street around 9:52 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, 2019, according to a news release from the Dearborn Police Department.
Al-janabi was transported to a hospital where she later died from gunshot injuries, according to MLIVE.
Surveillance systems at multiple homes in the area captured parts of each incident and helped identify a suspect vehicle that was later stopped by Detroit police officers after a high-speed chase, according to the release.
The suspects were not publicly identified by officials as of Friday morning.
