Officials said Wall was pronounced dead in her jail cell shortly after 5:00 a.m. Coroner Jamie Harwood reported that an autopsy determined she died from asphyxiation due to hanging. No additional medical findings have been released at this time.

According to information from county authorities, Wall had been booked into the Peoria County Jail on Sunday on a failure-to-appear warrant. No further details about the underlying case connected to that warrant have been made public.

The Peoria County Sheriff’s Office stated that no foul play is suspected based on the information currently available. Officials also confirmed that the case remains under investigation, and no further updates have been released.

As of now, law enforcement and the coroner have not provided any information regarding the circumstances leading up to the discovery of Wall in her cell, including whether staff observed anything unusual during routine checks or whether she had any prior issues while in custody. Additional details are expected to be released as the investigation continues.
