RANDOLPH COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Robert Bowden, of Lafayette, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday night fatal vehicle crash in Randolph County.
Bowden, 44, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Roanoke Sunday night.

According to reports, Bowden was operating a Jeep Latitude on Chambers County 100 in Roanoke, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 10 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle then came into contact with a tree and rolled over.
Bowden was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
