NEW LONDON COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — Jamie Krajewski, and Tyshon Ozzie Harper, both of Norwich, Connecticut, have been identified as the pedestrians killed late Friday night in New London County.
Krajewski, 33, and the 17-year-old, were both killed near Uncasville Friday night after their vehicle became disabled.
According to reports, the pair were standing near a disabled Lexus ES300 which was parked behind a Buick Enclave CXL on Interstate 395 in Montville, when a Volkswagen Passat crossed centerlines and made contact with both parked vehicles as well as Krajewski and Harper around 11:30 p.m. Friday.
The Passat then came into contact with a metal beam guardrail before coming to a rest on the right shoulder.
Krajewski and Harper were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
