BERKS COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Jarrod Evans, of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle Monday in Berks County.
Evans, 23, was killed after he was struck in a multi-vehicle collision in Tilden Township early Monday morning.
According to reports, Evans was standing near his disabled vehicle on Interstate 78 near Mile Marker 26 in Hamburg, when the disabled vehicle and Evans were struck by another vehicle around 4:40 a.m. Monday.
The vehicle that struck Evans was then rear-ended by another vehicle which was then rear-ended by a forth vehicle.
Evans was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash of blunt force trauma injuries.
