HENDRICKS COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — David Shelton, of Indianapolis, Indiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday morning vehicle crash in Hendricks County.
Shelton, 52, was killed in a minivan crash involving a semi-tractor near Brownsburg Saturday morning.
According to reports, Shelton was operating a minivan in the 3400 block of Indiana 267 in Brownsburg, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 7:45 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle then came into contact with big-rig.
Shelton, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
No other injuries were reported, officials said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
