HENRY COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Roger Antoine Gravely, of Martinsville, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a Friday morning vehicle crash in Henry County.
Gravely, 38, was killed in a single-vehicle Route 751 crash near Martinsville early Friday.
According to reports, Gravely was operating a GMC Yukon on Elijah Circle, near October Way, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 12:45 a.m. Friday. The vehicle then made contact with an embankment and rolled over.
Gravely, who was ejected during the crash, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
