JACKSONVILLE, FL. (THECOUNT) — Aasha Tinson, of Jacksonville, Florida, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle double-fatal crash Friday night.

Tinson, 32, was killed in a single-vehicle crash while traveling on Interstate 10 Friday night in Jacksonville. The tragic crash also took the life of a male child.

According to officials, Tinson was operating a Chevrolet Malibu on I-10 near Cassat Avenue, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 10:30 p.m. Friday night. The vehicle then made contact with a guardrail and entered a culvert before rolling over.

Tinson was partially ejected from the vehicle during the wreck. A child passenger was fully ejected.

Tinson was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.

The child was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the crash.

According to records, Tinson was originally from Tallahassee, Florida.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
