HAMPTON TOWNSHIP, OH. (THECOUNT) — Kaitlyn Eckelberry of, Uniontown, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a head-on vehicle crash in Hampton Township, PA, late Friday night on PA-8.
Eckelberry, 23, was killed in a Allison, PA two-vehicle crash on William Flinn Highway on Friday night around midnight.
According to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner, Eckelberry was operating a vehicle in the 3800 block of William Flinn Highway, when for unknown reasons, another vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes after 12 a.m. Friday. The vehicle then came into contact with Eckelberry’s vehicle.
Eckelberry was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
No details were available on the condition of the other driver, reports TribLive.
Allegheny County Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
