VIGO COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Dave Hoffa, Honey Creek Middle School teacher and coach, has been identified as the victim in a vehicle crash on Sunday, according to a Facebook posting by the school.
Hoffa, 60, was killed in a Sunday crash on IN-63 in northern Vigo County. Details of the crash are very limited as of Sunday night. Officials say more information will be released Monday.
Hoffa worked for the school district for many years.

The athletic director says counselors will be available for students when they return to class on Tuesday. Athletes are encouraged to wear cross country or track shirts to honor Coach Hoffa, reports WTHI.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
