Christian County, IL. (THECOUNT) — Rodney D. Murphy, of 321 S Silver St, Taylorville, IL., has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash Saturday night, according to Sunday morning reports.
Murphy, 66, was killed in a crash on IL-61 near Plymouth Saturday night.

According to reports, Murphy was operating a Chevrolet Impala on Route 50, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway.
Murphy was pronounced dead at the scene.
Murphy was not wearing a seatbelt, according to PJStar.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
