OK BOLO Issued For Derek Perez McDonald’s Worker Stabs Muskogee Manager Before Abducting Woman & Child

MUSKOGEE, OK. (THECOUNT) — An Amber Alert has been issued as police hunt for Derek Martin Perez, a Muskogee, Oklahoma McDonald’s employee accused of attacking his store manager, James Coble Jr., and then fleeing the scene to then abduct his a woman and child on Tuesday, according to Wednesday morning reports.

An active manhunt is on for Perez, 32, after police say he stabbed Coble, a Muskogee McDonald’s manager, before fleeing the scene and allegedly abducting a woman and child on Tuesday.

Officials say the kidnapping occurred sometime after Perez attacked Coble.

Authorities were dispatched to the McDonald’s located at, S 32nd St, Muskogee, OK, on a call of an unknown disturbance around 3 p.m. Tuesday. When they arrived they found Coble suffering from apparent stab wounds to the stomach.

Coble identified Perez as the suspect saying he fled the scene before officers arrived.

Coble was then transported to an area hospital and is in unknown condition.

Police say Perez was last seen operating in a Silver 2006 Chevrolet Malibu with the license plate EBM212. He is believed to have forced his family to go with him as he fled from police.

An Amber Alert issued by Muskogee Police Department yesterday says the suspect’s child was “taken by force along with her mother.” The child is named as Olivia Perez.

The Amber Alert said:

“The aunt of the child spoke to the child’s mother, who [said] that Derek would not stop the car and she could not get out.” The notice is listed as “currently active” at the time of writing, reports Newsweek.

The Muskogee Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment asking for additional case information.

The 2-year-old is described as having blue eyes, blonde hair and being about two feet tall. The mother has blue eyes and red hair, authorities said.

Public records show, 444894 Meadow Ln in Vinita OK, as Perez’s last known address. Perez is listed as “unmarried,” according to public records.

It remains unclear what sparked the confrontation between Perez and Coble Jr.
