ORANGE COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — A 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman who had just gotten married died only minutes later after a vehicle collided with their car while they were driving away from the Justice of the Peace courtroom.
State troopers are investigating the crash on Highway 87 near the airport. It was reported at about 3 p.m. Friday.

The sister and mother of the 19-year-old man who died tell KFDM/Fox 4 they were behind the car carrying him and his 20-year-old bride.
They had left the courtroom of Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Joy Dubose-Simonton about five minutes earlier. Her courtroom is at the airport. The family says a truck collided with the newlywed couple’s car. They died at the scene.
We are not yet naming the couple nor showing their wedding picture, which the family provided, to ensure the parents of each couple are able to notify other close relatives.
