Cohocton, NY. (THECOUNT) — Emilee Rawleigh, from Dansville, New York, has been identified as the victim killed in a Tuesday night single-vehicle crash in Cohocton, New York, according to New York State Police.

Rawleigh, 21, was riding as a passenger in a vehicle traveling on County Road 36 in Cohocton Tuesday night when the fatal crash occurred.

According to State Police, officials responded to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on CR-36 around 10:30 p.m.

Troopers say, Rawleigh was a passenger in a vehicle traveling on CR-36, when for unknown reason, the vehicle exited the roadway and struck an embankment.

Rawleigh was ejected during the violent crash.

She was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

Police said the driver of the vehicle suffered injuries that were considered minor and non-life threatening, reports WHAM13.

According to social media, Rawleigh worked as a bartender Olive Garden and also performed multiple duties at T & J’s Country Kitchen. She attended Dansville Senior High School and lived in Naples, New York.
