The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office said they have opened a death investigation Monday after Greer, South Carolina woman, Natalie Niemitala, was found shot to death.
The shooting occurred on Zimmerman Road, according to the coroner. Niemitala was transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center where she died as a result of her injuries.
Dispatchers said the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office was on scene of the incident. The coroner confirmed the incident was an active investigation by deputies, who will release more information when appropriate. source
An autopsy for Niemitala is scheduled for Tuesday.
