Penn and his new co-workers
Kal Penn, best known for his pot-smoking antics in the Harold and Kumar films, is officially working at the White House. Monday was his first day of being an associate director in the Office of Public Liaison, where he will be focused primarily on working with Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders. He’ll also be working with groups affiliated with the arts.
Penn was offered the job after President Obama’s victory in November. Before Obama’s win, Penn spent a lot of time on the campaign trail stumping for him. After accepting the position, Penn vowed not to do any movies or television until he was done working for the Obama administration. In fact, he left a full-time gig on House to work at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. I gotta say, that’s a pretty good trade.
Penn also said he’ll use his birth name, Kalpen Modi, instead of his stage name while working in Washington.

Rihanna’s neighbor, Christian Moeller, filed a lawsuit today Tuesday against Rihanna and Stephen Yacobian (yah-KHO’ bee-ihn), who owns the house she rents in Los Angeles. Moeller’s lawsuit claims ‘cars routinely park or wait on his property, including cars used by Rihanna.’

Britney Spears‘ stalker is a former American Idol contestant. This case sounds familiar…bells are ringing!

The 26 yr old stalker woman, Miranda Tozier-Robbins, recently responded electronically to a series of questions from The Associated Press on Friday, and confirmed her identity in a phone message. She says she ‘wasn’t expecting Spears to be home, but would have tried to sell pictures of the singer if she got any.’
The reason why she was peeping in Britney’s window is because ‘she’s making a paparazzi documentary.’ In this supposed documentary, she ‘wanted to show the efforts paparazzi go through.’
Anddd the reported reason why she chose the lucky Britney was because it “might as well be someone I’m interested in.”
I like her Q&A participation! Stalkin’ for the love of film! But Britney’s ol’ casa in Calabasas needs tighter security! Do the Kardashians live in Brit’s neighborhood too? The girls would have totally posed for pictures if peeping sue was outside of their window!

Makes sense. She probably gave her a million dollars and offered to take a few of the kids off her hands. Only the pretty kids tho..not the ones without noses or limbs. Don’t get mad, I was joking.

Slash and his wife, are suing the realitors that sold him his Hollywood Hills home.

“Sotheby’s International Reality,” misrepresented the details of the house that was sold to Slash and his wife in 2006.
Associated Press says, “They [Slash and his wife] wanted enough size and parking for parties, but say the home was smaller than advertised and on a public street with parking restrictions. The 2007 suit seeks more than $1 million and punitive damage.”
We love them but…
Maybe Slash and his wife should have taken a closer look at the house details before buying, rather than trusting the realitor so much.

A relative of Paula Goodspeed, the woman who killed herself outside Paula Abdul’s house earlier this week, are pointing the finger at Abdul for the death. We had a feeling this was coming, even though it’s completely unfair.
Goodspeed’s brother, Charles McIntyre, has disputed tentative police reports she committed suicide in her car and has blamed the Idol judge for crushing her dreams of stardom.
As we reported, Goodspeed auditioned for season five of Idol in 2006 but did not make it past her first audition.
McIntyre tells the New York Post, “(Abdul) didn’t speak up for her. She let everyone take her down. She said she was ’speechless’, when she could have said something in her defense.
“When someone sees you on American Idol being told you’re no good… her career just went downtown after that.” A spokesperson for Abdul has declined to comment.
It’s ridiculous to blame Paula Abdul for Goodspeed not having the singing ability to compete on the show. Idol has gotten so out of control with delusional people looking for fame and they don’t have any singing ability! It’s crazy, and this is a very very sad story, but it’s awful that McIntyre is trying to blame Paula Abdul, who is innocent in the matter.
