Rolling Stone is reporting Brian May, guitarist of Queen asked Adam Lambert to join the group. May told RS: “Roger Taylor and I are definitely hoping to have a meaningful conversation with him at some point. It’s not like we, as Queen, would rush into coalescing with another singer just like that. It isn’t that easy. But I’d certainly like to work with Adam. That is one amazing instrument he has there, I’m confident Adam will make great use of this wonderful opportunity. I hope I’m there to see it.”
I think Adam would be a perfect fit for Queen, what do you think?

Would I like to see/hear Adam fronting Queen? You bet! He has the charisma (as did Freddy), the sexuality, the fitting voice quality for the legendary group, the looks, and whatever else Brian and Roger see/hear in him. I’d seriously discuss the posibility with Adam.
No. I don’t think Adam should join Queen. I’m very tired of bands made up of old musicians going after youth for their singers-(INXS had a reality show to get their singer- and it went awful for that singer. Just one example.)
The guys in Queen are semi-retired and are old (60’s.) Adam will do well on his own- this would allow the focus on HIS songs, doing it HIS way, without being forced to do what Queen dictates, and not being forced to sing songs written by others. Carrie Underwood (AI winner) has done excellent on her own. I say this as a person raised in the music industry, who met many famous artists growing up.
I agree, in a way, but die hard queen fans don’t care how old those guys get, they just want them to see them perform. it maybe be better for adam’s career looking forward, but i bet the queen gig pays real good!?!

omg adam would be great for queen. definitly not as good as Freddie Mercury becasue he is a rock legend. but adam would be the next best thing to fill in the missing slot in queen. they should get john decon back and it could be almost like old times if adam would dance around like Freddie.
