HOUSTON COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Christopher Ryan Bostwick, of Locust Grove, Georgia, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in Houston County.
Chris Bostwick, 26, was killed in a Sunday hit-and-run motorcycle crash involving a semi-tractor and a Jeep Compass in Locust Grove.

According to reports, Bostwick was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Interstate 75, when for unknown reasons, he lost control and laid the bike down, sliding for several hundred feet. At some point, a semi-tractor ran the rider over. The semi failed to stop and is being sought by police.
Bostwick was then struck by a Jeep Compass. That driver remained on scene and cooperated with arriving officials.
Bostwick was pronounced dead of injuries suffered during the incident.
Authorities are actively seeking to identify and locate the hit-and-run driver responsible for the death of Bostwick. Any witnesses with possible information related to the crash are urged to come forward and assist investigators.
