ANDREWS COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Misty Dorries-Beckett, of Andrews, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a Monday evening vehicle crash on Andrews County.

Dorries-Beckett, 37, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Andrews Monday evening.

According to reports, Dorries-Beckett was traveling as a passenger in a vehicle on US-385 near SE CR-1500 in Andrews, when the vehicle came into contact with another vehicle Monday evening.

Dorries-Beckett was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.

The drivers of both vehicles were also transported to area hospitals. One driver was treated for minor injuries, and the other is said to be in stable condition.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
