NEW HAVEN COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — Julie Lynn Minogue, of Milford, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday night murder in New Haven County. Ewen Dewitt was identified as the suspect in the deadly incident.
Minogue, 40, was killed in a “targeted attack” at her home at the Longmeadow Condominium complex Tuesday night.

According to reports, police responded to a call at 76 Salem Walk in Milford Tuesday night. When they arrived, Minogue was found suffering from fatal injuries.
A cause of death was not provided by officials.
Dewitt, 42, was taken into custody a short time after fleeing the scene of the crime.
Dewitt was charged with murder, criminal violation of a protective order, criminal violation of a restraining order, risk of injury and reckless endangerment for the death of Minogue, who reportedly had a protective order against him, according to police.
Dewitt is being held in lieu of a $5 million bond. His next court date is scheduled for Dec. 14.
