PENOBSCOT COUNTY, ME. (THECOUNT) — FOX 22 and ABC 7 Bangor, Maine news anchor, Blake Lipton, has been reported missing.

According to Lipton’s mother, her son failed to show up for work Tuesday morning.

Blake Lipton joined the WVII team in June of 2021.

It is Lipton’s second time as a member of the ABC7 & Fox22 news team. Prior to working as the station’s assignment editor, Blake spent three years as WVII morning anchor. Blake had also previously worked for a news station in Tennessee as an anchor and reporter.

Originally from the Maryland/Washington D.C. area, Blake studied broadcast journalism at the University of South Carolina. He is excited to be back in Maine and serving the Bangor community.
