TAMPA, FL. (THECOUNT) — Saturday night’s Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley II bout at Amalie Arena in Tampa, put more people in the seats than typically does home team Tampa Bay Lightning.
Over 20,000 boxing fans packed the arena – many of those new to the sport – to watch Paul take on Woodley in a Saturday night rematch. And not only did the fight night sell the place out to the rafters, fans showed up early and stayed to the bitter-sweet end – unlike most boxing matches where many seats go empty until filled by the main event.

Paul (5-0) and Woodley (0-2) entered the ring to throngs of screaming fans who showed up en-masse for the highly anticipated rematch also airing live on Showtime pay-per-view Saturday night. Paul won the first bout by split decision, but with an exclamation point, Woodley kissed the canvas hard in their second meeting. Find the graphic knockout video below.
