ORANGE COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — California prosecutors say, William Wallace of Anaheim, killed his wife on Christmas Eve, then propped up her body on the family sofa the next morning as the couple’s children opened their Christmas presents.
Wallace allegedly murdered his wife, Za’Zell Preston during a fight on Christmas Eve of 2011, then propped her body on a sofa in front of their children as they opened Christmas presents.

The Orange County Register says that scenario was presented to jurors Monday as murder trial began for Wallace of Anaheim.
Wallace told his children Preston had gotten drunk and ruined Christmas.
His attorney claims Preston died from a drunken fall into a glass table.
