MONROE COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Islamorada, Florida teen, Daniel Weisberger, is at large after allegedly stabbing his younger brother to death and injuring his father in Monroe County.

Weisberger, 17, is accused of fatally stabbing his 14-year-old brother and then turing the weapon on his father at their Islamorada home.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Weisberger fled his home Thursday morning after stabbing his young brother and his 43-year-old father.

Officials are asking the public’s help in locating Weisberger.

The teen victim, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene of stab wounds.

The father, also not identified, was transported to an area hospital after fleeing the home for help.

No other people were injured in the incident.

Weisberger is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information regarding Weisberger’s whereabouts should call 911 immediately.
