BEVERLY HILLS, CA. (THECOUNT) — Reverend Janet Broderick, actor Matthew Broderick‘s sister, has tested positive for coronavirus.

Janet Broderick, 64, was placed in isolation in an intensive care unit with “a severe form of pneumonia,” she revealed through her church.

“I am so thankful for your prayers as I have been ill,” Reverend Janet Broderick, 64, wrote to her congregation at All Saints Episcopal Church in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, reports Page6.

“Everyone has been so good to me and supported me with prayers.”

Broderick went to Cedars Sinai Medical Center after someone who had been at the same conference tested positive — and was then also confirmed to have COVID-19, the church said.

Despite her serious condition, she assured worshippers, “I am through the worst of this and very very much on the mend.”
