MARIETTA, GA. (THECOUNT) — John Franklin White, of Marietta, Georgia, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday afternoon motorcycle crash.
White, 43, was killed in a crash on Ernest W Barrett Pkwy NW around 3:20 Saturday.

According to Cobb County police, White was operating a BMW motorcycle on Ernest W Barrett Pkwy NW near Rocky Ridge Road, when he came into contact with a Toyota Avalon who was performing a left hand turn.
White was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The Avalon driver was not injured in the crash, according to police.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
