FRANCE. (THECOUNT) — Max von Sydow, the actor best known for his work on feature films, The Exorcist and Minority Report, has died at his home in France. He was 90.

The Swedish born star made his film debut in 1949 before enjoying an distinguished Hollywood career starring in many movies, including more recently, Game Of Thrones.

In 2015, von Sydow joined the cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the following year portrayed the mysterious Three-Eyed Raven in Game Of Thrones in 2015.

The actor, known for roles in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Game Of Thrones, The Exorcist and Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close, died at home in France on Sunday, reports DailyMail.

A cause of death was not provided.
