ST. LOUIS, MO. (THECOUNT) — Joseph Shilharvey, of Warrenton, Missouri, has been identified as the pedestrian struck and killed Thursday while reportedly attempting to cross Interstate 55 in St. Louis.
Shilharvey, 57, was on-foot crossing I-55 South of St. Louis when he was fatally struck by a minivan before 10 p.m. Thursday.

The Warrenton man was trying to walk across the southbound highway lanes when he was hit by a minivan shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday, reports stamfordadvocate.
A woman driver remained on-scene and was uninjured in the collision.
No one was cited at the scene.
An autopsy was ordered.
The incident remains under investigation.
