AMARILLO, TX. (THECOUNT) — Barrett Jones, the Texas man reported missing back in July, has been found dead according to family members on Monday.
Jones, 40, disappeared and was last seen near the 2200 block of Old Muddy Road in the Valle de Oro area in July and has since been the subject of an ongoing search.

Jones’ pickup truck was located parked, but deputies said there was no indication that he may have exited the vehicle.
The family of Jones says his body was found near a river in Amarillo during a search over the weekend, reports NewsChannel10.
The Potter County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that his body was found.
A cause of death was not provided.
