MAPLEWOOD, NJ. (THECOUNT) — We now know who owns the Maplewood, NJ, home that an Au Pair and her male employer were found dead Saturday morning.
Property records show the house is owned by David and Laura Kimowitz, who bought the home in April of 2017. David Kimowitz is one of the owners of the Stand Up Comedy Club in New York City in Union Square.

The club was described as one of the best venues for stand-up, with big names gracing the stage on E. 16th Street, including Tracy Morgan, David Chappelle and Damon Wayans, reports NYPost.
Authorities say they are investigating after two victims were discovered in a suspected double homicide in the 400 block of Walton Avenue in Maplewood around 6 a.m. Saturday.
The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said authorities got a 911 call and discovered the victims, one male and one female, around 6:15 a.m. near a home Walton Avenue near Jefferson Avenue.
Law enforcement sources say that the victims were a female au pair and her male employer, reports NBCNewYork.
The victim ages and identities were not released by officials.
Witnesses say a woman was seen bloody laying on a front lawn.
Officials said they are not investigating the situation was a murder-suicide.
No arrests have been made and the victims have not been publicly identified because next of kin are being notified, the prosecutor’s office said.
