MOUNT BETHEL, PA. (THECOUNT) — Erick David Gonzalez Candelario, of Freeport N.Y., has been identified as the man found Saturday evening in the Delaware River in Upper Mount Bethel Township, PA, state police said.
The body of Candelario, 26, was recovered from the river at 8:20 p.m in the area of the 200 block of Slateford Road by the Portland Search and Rescue and National Park Service Search and Rescue, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Emergency crews initially responded shortly after 5 p.m. to reports of a missing swimmer, reports LehighValleyLive.
Candelario was later identified as the person reported missing, state police said.
State police said the death was accidental, however, the official cause and manner of death will be determined by the Northampton County Coroner’s Office. Both banks of the river in the areas of Upper Mount Bethel Township and Knowlton Township in Warren County were being searched during the time of the recovery.
