JOHNSON COUNTY, KS. (THECOUNT) — Dylan J. Garnett, of Shawnee, KS, has been identified as the victim killed after being involved in a vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon.
Garnett, 19, was operating a Kia Sorento on KS-10 near Ridgeview when he collided with a semi-truck, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

KHP said, the Sorento ignored slowing traffic and struck the rear of the semi.
Garnett was pronounced dead on the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was transported to Overland Park regional with unknown injuries.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, according to Fox4KC.
