SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Jonathan Galligan has been identified as the suspect arrested in connection with two bodies found buried on a property in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
The coroner’s office identified the victims as 27-year-old Christin Renee Bunner of Spartanburg and 40-year-old Melissa Fairlee Rhymer of Mountville, South Carolina.

“Stretch” Galligan, 39 was taken into custody and booked into the Spartanburg County Detention Center around 1:00pm Saturday, according to WSPA.
Galligan is charged with Murder and Accessory After the Fact of a Felony, according to the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
Deputies and the Spartanburg County Coroner responded to a home in the 100 block of Williams Street Friday afternoon where two bodies were found buried on the property.
According to Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger, cadaver dogs led them to the two adult bodies that were buried near each other in about 18-inch graves located in the backyard of the home on Williams Street.
Clevenger said it appears that the bodies have been on the property less than a year or two.
According to a missing persons poster from March 2, Bunner had been missing since December 2018.
