GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH. (THECOUNT) — Shakira Graham has been identified as the Ohio woman accused of robbing and killing a Garfield Heights man she had met on a dating website.

Graham, 24, was arrested Wednesday after allegedly killing Meshach Cornwall, a 27-year-old man she had met on the internet.

The suspect allegedly met with Cornwall after connecting with him on a dating website, then returned to his home two days later, killed him and stole various items from his home.

Graham was arrested Wednesday night by members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force on her warrant for homicide, according to a news release from the U.S. Marshals Service – reported by News5Cleveland.

The investigation found that Graham stayed over at Cornwall’s Garfield Heights home, located in the 12000 block of Darlington Avenue, on Dec. 15, 2018. Two days later, she allegedly returned and shot and killed him, then stole various items from his residence.

Cornwall was later located by officials in the basement covered in blood suffering from multiple gunshot injuries.

Multiple bullet holes were also found in the basement hallway.

Wednesday night, members of the task force arrested Graham in Shaker Heights. She was transported to the Garfield Heights Police Department for an interview.

“Thanks to the tireless efforts of the Garfield Heights Police Department and our task force members, a violent fugitive is off the streets,” stated US Marshal Pete Elliott. “We are very proud of the working relationships we share with the local police departments in Northern Ohio.”
