CHEROKEE, IA. (THECOUNT) — Cherokee, Iowa man, Larry Weede, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Cherokee County.
Weede, 68, was operating a vehicle east of Cherokee after 9 a.m., when due to slick road conditions, lost control and exited the roadway. The vehicle then struck a guardrail and entered a dutch causing it to flip.

Other passengers in the vehicle were identified as, Dianna Weede, who was transported with serious incapacitating injuries, and Brennan Weede as well as two unnamed minor passengers who suffered unknown injuries, according to siouxlandproud.
Larry Weede was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of multiple blunt force injuries consistent with the violent crash.
